A disappointing upgrade

New update includes a new level up system. Now each member of your party (heroes) needs a single item to be promoted. They just need 30 of this item, which is twice as many items as used to be required.

How do you get these items? Its still a random thing.

New also is that guild perks now require the same items which are required for hero promotions, so it is a choice between promoting your party members or obtaining guild perks.

AND... You still cant upgrade your castle past level 8, even though attempting to update buildings or access an island already on your map prompts you to upgrade your castle to level 8...

The game is straightforward to play and enjoyable... But they changed the level up method. You now need 4 of ~this~ and 8 of ~that~. How do you get ~this~ or a ~that~? Its random.

You can play a mission and win 1 of 3 pieces of loot, one of which is the ~this~ you need. You can play and replay the mission 5 or 6 times, and not get a single ~this~. You can update the buildings that produce ~this~ or build additional ones, but you cannot control what loot they produce. This makes leveling up a waste of playing and replaying missions until you finally get a single ~this~! Then do all of it over again because you need 7 more!

Oh... And they dont answer support emails...
